Kingston activist runs for common council

KINGSTON – Third Ward community activist Democrat Andrew Champ-Doran is announcing his candidacy today for the common council. He will run in the September Democratic primary to represent the 3rd Ward in the November election.
Champ-Doran, who moved to the Mid-Hudson Valley in 1989, is vice chairman of Kingston’s Human Rights Commission and has served since 2014 on the Zoning Board of Appeals, Board of Assessment Review, and the Community Development Advisory Board.
Brad Will is the current alderman in the 3rd Ward.
