Kingston man charged with stealing cigarettes

TOWN OF ULSTER – A Kingston man was arrested by Ulster Town Police and charged with felony grand larceny for stealing cigarettes from a convenient store.
Police received a complaint of a theft on September 23, 2014 of over $2,400 worth of cigarettes.  Investigation revealed that William Nickerson, 35, of Locust Street in Kingston went behind the counter at the store without permission and stole the cigarettes.
Nickerson was arrested on Thursday, May 21, charged with felony grand larceny and released to reappear in town court next month.
