Monticello man arrested after Facebook post

VILLAGE OF LIBERTY – A man, who is prohibited from possessing any firearms because he is on probation for a previous felony conviction, was arrested on Tuesday.
Liberty Village Police investigated a Facebook post in which Darryl Bradshaw, 20, of Monticello, was holding a shotgun. Police learned the picture had been taken at a residence in Liberty and the shotgun has been an actual operational firearm.
Bradshaw was located at his residence in Monticello and arrested with incident, charged with misdemeanor criminal possession of a weapon.  He is in the Sullivan County Jail in lieu of $5,000 bail.
Liberty Village Police were assisted in the investigation by the Sullivan County Probation Department and Monticello Police.
