NEWBURGH – A 16-year-old Newburgh
youth died Saturday after being shot in the early morning hours.
Acting City Police Chief Daniel Cameron said Terence West, 16, was found
outside the Lake Street Apartments on Lake Driver at about 1:23 a.m.
He was transported to St. Luke’s Cornwall Hospital where he died
late in the morning.
No arrests have been made.
City Police along with State Police and the Orange County District Attorney’s
Office are investigating.

Meanwhile, police investigated another incident where a man was reported
shot in the neck and back shortly before midnight on Saturday. He was
taken to the hospital for treatment.
