Moms and kids pose with the Easter Bunny at Putnam
County’s Tilly Foster Farm
MID-HUDSON – The sun was shining, the windy was whipping, on Saturday
as children around the region searched for brightly colored eggs as Easter
egg hunts were held the day before the holiday.
At Middletown’s Fancher-Davidge Park, kids couldn’t wait for
the go-ahead to start searching for eggs on the day before Easter.
In Brewster, at Tilly Foster Farm, hundreds gathered for its Egg-stravaganza.
The children were also treated to face painting by the 4-H Club, gardening
crafts with Cornell Cooperative Extension of Putnam County, visits to
the Antique Farm Machinery Museum, listening to Mother Goose tell a story,
seeing the farm animals and having their picture taken with the Easter
Bunny.
