Orange County employee killed in park accident

TOWN OF WARWICK – An employee of the Orange County Parks and Recreation Department was killed in a tree-clearing accident at Hickory Hill Golf Course in the Town of Warwick on Wednesday.
Tonny Teskera, 38, was employed by the county since May 2002.
He was transported to St. Anthony Hospital in Warwick after the accident and was pronounced dead.
County Executive Steven Neuhaus was saddened by the death.
“It is nothing but a tragedy for Orange County, not only for the coworkers, but of the residents,” Neuhaus said.  “This man worked for the county for over 10 years.  He has a young family and lives in Warwick.”
State Police are investigating.
