AMENIA – The Dutchess County Sheriff’s
Office is investigating a fatal hit-and-run accident on Bog Hollow Road
in the Town of Amenia that occurred around 8 p.m. Thursday.

The victim was identified as Concetta Eastman, 36, of Copake, who was
transported by ambulance to Sharon Hospital in Connecticut where she later

was parked on the edge of Bog Hollow Road in the Town of Amenia when a
southbound vehicle struck her and left the scene.

The sheriff’s office is working to identify the driver responsible

damage to the front passenger side.

The truck was last seen traveling southbound on Bog Hollow Road near the
Connecticut state border.
