Newburgh man arrested in Beacon for identity theft

BEACON – State Police arrested a Newburgh man on a felony charge of identity theft for allegedly using another person’s identification to fraudulently obtain a driver’s license at the Department of Motor Vehicles Office in Beacon.
Jean Origene, 40, of Newburgh, was arrested on Wednesday in connection with the crime that allegedly occurred on December 5, 2014.  He was also charged with falsifying business records and offering a false instrument for filing.
Origene was sent to the Dutchess County Jail without bail.
