NEWBURGH – Police in Newburgh are continuing to investigate the shooting of a 17-year-old youth, who sustained a gunshot wound to his lower leg while at South Lander and Renwick streets at 12:10 a.m. on Saturday, March 14.
The victim was standing on the street talking to another person when the shots were fired and police are not sure if he was the intended target.
The youth was taken by private vehicle to St. Luke’s Cornwall Hospital.
