KINGSTON – A Town of Ulster man was arrested on a felony charge of criminal possession of marijuana after he signed for a package containing some 25 pounds of the drug.
Kurt Quarantino is in the Ulster County Jail in lieu of $25,000 cash bail or $50,000 bond following his arrest on Friday, March 6.
State Police at the Kingston barracks intercepted a package being shipped by a private shipping company that contained the drug. An undercover trooper delivered the package to Quarantino who signed for receipt of it and was immediately taken into custody.
