BLOOMINGBURG – Store surveillance video helped capture a man who police believe broke into a precious metals dealer store in Bloomingburg.
On February 27, someone broke into the Malek Gold Buyers store, smashed a glass display case and stole its contents.
State Police investigated and arrested Dylan Ward, 17, of Port Jervis and charged him with burglary, criminal possession of stolen property, and criminal mischief, all as felonies, and misdemeanor possession of burglar’s tools. He was sent to the Sullivan County Jail in lieu of $20,000 cash bail.
