TOWN OF ULSTER – Two employees of a Town of Ulster store have been charged with stealing a customer’s credit card information and then using it to make purchases of over $30,000.
Ulster Town Police charged Shawn McMillian, and Neville Thomas, both 27 and from Kingston, with felony grand larceny in connection with the theft of customer information from the Staple’s store. They were both sent to the Ulster County Jail in lieu of bail.
The investigation is ongoing and police said additional charges and arrests are pending.
Police are asking anyone who has shopped at the Staple’s store in the last several months to check their credit card statements to see if their cards were compromised and if so, to call Ulster Town Police at 845-382-1111 and ask for Det. Brian Reavy.
