MIDDLETOWN – Firefighters batled a
fully involved house fire at 43 Commonwealth Avenue in the City of Middletown.
The fire was called in at 4:30 a.m. Sunday with personnel from a number
of area departments responding to the two-alarm blaze blaze in near zero
degree temperatures.
A half hour after the blaze was first reported, a fire investigator was
called to the scene.
By 5:45 a.m., most of the fire was reported knocked down.
