WEST NYACK – Clarkstown Police identified the man who was killed when his SUV slammed into a snow bank on Route 59 in the vicinity of Larch Court in West Nyack early Wednesday afternoon.
Emmanuel Estriplet, 56, of Central Nyack died at Nyack Hospital a short time after the accicent.
A passenger, Marie Cherimond, 55, from Central Nyack, was treated for minor injuries. The two were friends who lived in the same area.
Police are continuing their investigation but said preliminary information raises the possibility that a medical condition suffered by Estriplet may have been a factor.
