Town of Ulster declares state of emergency

TOWN OF ULSTER – The Town of Ulster
has declared a state of emergency due to the significant water leak in
the City of Kingston’s transmission line.

Deputy Town Supervisor Eric Kitchen declared the emergency because the
situation threatens the public safety. The state of emergency will be
in effect for two days. He imposed it at 1 p.m. on Tuesday.

Consumers of water in the following water districts are urged to conserve
water:

• Bright Acres
• Cherry Hill
• East Kingston
• Glenerie
• Spring Lake
• Ulster
