COXSACKIE – A Hannacroix man has been
arrested on grand larceny charges for allegedly stealing 14 batteries
from trucks at a Coxsackie business.
State Police at Catskill also charges Joseph Tanner, 27, with petit larceny
and two counts of trespass.
It is alleged that Tanner went to the business on one occasion and stole
11 batteries from trucks and returned the next day and stole three more.
The total value of the stolen property was estimated at over $2,000.
Tanner was arraigned and committed to the Greene County Jail in lieu of
$2,500 cash bail or $5,000 bond.
