GOSHEN – Retired Orange County District Attorney Frank Phillips
has been presented with the Frank S. Hogan Award by the District Attorney’s
Association of the State of New York.

The award is the highest honor given by New York’s 62 DA’s
and is named in honor of Manhattan DA Frank Hogan, who was known as “Mr.
Integrity” and served as New York County DA from 1942 until his
death in 1974.

Phillips served as an assistant Orange County DA from 1974 through 1981
and as DA from 1986 through 2013 when he retired. He was president of
the state’s DA Association in 1996-97.

“An award from 62 men and women who have actually done the job as
the district attorney for their respective counties makes the award significant
and meaningful,” said Phillips.
