ELLENVILLE – Members of URGENT and Ellenville Police received intelligence in regard to a wanted person, selling heroin from a residence on Burlinson Avenue in the Village of Ellenville.
Jesus LaSanta, 32, was wanted for a New York State Parole violation arrest warrant. Members of URGENT and Ellenville Police initiated an investigation, located LaSanta and executed the arrest warrant Thursday afternoon. Members of URGENT made entry into the residence and located LaSanta in a rear bedroom. A search of the room revealed: heroin, marihuana, electronic scales, drug packaging material and U.S. currency. LaSanta was arrested, transported to the Ulster County Law Enforcement Center and charged with felony criminal possession of a controlled substance and two misdemeanor crimes.
LaSanta is held without bail on the parole violation arrest warrant.
