KINDERHOOK – State Police from the Kinderhook barracks arrested John Drumm, 53, of Kinderhook, for driving while ability impaired by drugs and/or alcohol, a felony, and with leaving the scene.
The arrest followed a two-car hit-and-run crash on State Route 9 at the intersection of Maple Lane on January 3. Drumm’s SUV veered into the path of an oncoming car driven by Leslie Pierce, 26, who sustained minor injuries.
Drumm fled the scene but located and arrested a short time later. The felony DWAI charge stems from a previous DWI related convicted from 2011.
