Green County man charged with assault, weapons possession

CAIRO – State police responded to a residence in the Town of Cairo on Christmas Day for a report of a domestic dispute. As a result of the investigation, Corey Lykens, 26, of Cairo, was arrested for several felony and misdemeanor charges, including assault, criminal mischief, menacing, all misdemeanors, and criminal possession of a weapon, a felony.
Lykens was sent to the Greene County Jail in lieu of $10,000 cash bail or $20,000 bond.
State Police were assisted at the scene by the Greene County Sheriff’s Office
