RAMAPO- Town of Ramapo police have made an arrest in connecting with an attempted murder that took place on Thursday around 8:30 p.m. on Trailside Place.
Police arrested and charged Elijah Dean, 23, from New City with attempted murder, assault, and criminal possession of a weapon. Police say that Dean stabbed his victim in his head and neck multiple times in his driveway. The victim was transported to the hospital by ambulance in serious condition where he remains in serious condition but is expected to survive.
Dean was arraigned in Ramapo Town Court and bail was set at one million dollars cash, or five million fully secured bond, or ten million partially secured bond and was sent to Rockland County Jail. He is set to appear again in court on April 18th.
