Thelma Cromwell Bowman
December 13, 1934 ~ April 4, 2024 (age 89)
Thelma Cromwell Bowman, 89, of Jamestown, North Carolina, went to be with Jesus on April 4, 2024.
She was a licensed cosmetologist and a beloved member of the Salt Point, NY and Jamestown, NC Communities.
Thelma was a devoted member of the Presbyterian Church, having worshipped at both the Presbyterian in Salt Point, NY and the Jamestown Presbyterian Church in Jamestown, NC.
She enjoyed helping others, gardening, cooking, directing the choir and music of all types. Thelma’s spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Thelma is preceded in death by her spouses, Richard Cromwell and Donald Bowman. She is survived by her beloved children and their spouses; Cathy McCoy and Dan McCoy, Karen Conklin Budusky and Jim Budusky, Richard Cromwell and Joyce Cromwell; her grandchildren Colin, Erin and Sean McCoy, Leland, Catherine, and Austin Conlin, Danielle Rasecke, and Kasia Collins; and her great grandchildren, Brooks, Marty, Lydia, and Paul Conklin, and Hannalee and Timo Rasecke.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Jamestown Presbyterian Church in memory of Thelma Cromwell Bowman.
Calling Hours will be held at the Dapson-Chestney Funeral Home, 51 W. Market St., Rhinebeck, NY on Monday April 22, from 10 am to 11 am.
Funeral Services will be held at the Funeral Home at 11 am.
Burial will follow at the Salt Point Cemetery.
