Woman charged after throwing a pot at her sister and striking a four-year-old

SAUGERTIES – A woman, who engaged in a fight with her sister at 55 Plenty Street in Glasco, has been charged with attempted assault and endangering the welfare of a child, both as misdemeanors.
Saugerties Police were called for a report of a domestic dispute between sisters that had escalated into a physical altercation.
It was reported that during the fight, Lauren Camarata, 18, of Saugerties, threw a cooking pot at her sister, missed her and hit a four-year-old child in the arm.
Lauren Camarata was released on her own recognizance and an order of protection was issued for the sister and child.
