Hopewell Junction man arrested after spying on protected victim

EAST FISHKILL – State Police have arrested a Hopewell Junction man on charges that he eavesdropped on a victim while an order of protection was in place issued by the Dutchess County Family Court to protect the victim.

Brett Marinaccio, 33, was arrested on January 4 and charged with eavesdropping, criminal contempt and stalking.

It is alleged that he used hidden GPS tracking devices with audio capabilities to eavesdrop on the victim.

He was arraigned and remanded to the Dutchess County Jail in lieu of $10,000 cash bail or $20,000 bond.
