Motorcyclist killed in I-287crash was Connecticut man

WHITE PLAINS – The man killed when his motorcycle failed to negotiate a curt at the exit 7 deceleration ramp on I-287 in White Plains has been identified as Francis Claps III, 22, of Greenwich, Connecticut.
The accident occurred around 12:20 a.m. on Monday, October 8 when State Police said Claps struck a guide rail. He was transported to Westchester Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.
No other vehicles were involved and no other injuries were reported.
