NEW WINDSOR – The $500,000 business loan program launches today through the Orange County Funding Corporation, a sister organization of the Orange County Industrial Development Agency.
Loans are available for small local businesses impacted by the ongoing COVD-19 pandemic, said CEO Laurie Villasuso.
“There is no cost to apply and it is geared toward small, local Main Street businesses to help with rent, utilities, maybe some payroll, inventory, supplies – anything that a business needs to either get through this crisis or to reopen after this crisis,” she said.
Loans of up to $10,000 are available with zero percent interest in the first six months and two percent thereafter for 24 months.
