LAGRANGE – A 27-year-old Bronx man has been arrested after he allegedly tried to purchase a vehicle with an ID stolen from an out-of-state victim.
State Police from the Salt Point barracks arrested Francisco Gonzalez on charges of identity theft, forgery, possession of a forged instrument, and grand larceny, all as felonies, and conspiracy as a misdemeanor.
Investigation revealed Gonzalez allegedly stole the identity of an out-of-state victim and then attempted to purchase a vehicle with forged documentation from a dealership in Lagrange.
He was arraigned and released on his own recognizance pending a future court appearance.
