New York man arrested for trying to cash forged check

HIGHLAND – A Queens Village man was arrested by Lloyd Town Police on charges of criminal possession of a forged instrument and attempted petit larceny for allegedly trying to cash a forged check at the Hudson Valley Federal Credit Union in Highland.
Myles Anderson, 19, arrested on Thursday, April 20, was sent to the Ulster County Jail in lieu of $500 cash bail or $5,000 bond pending a future court appearance.
