TOWN OF SOUTHEAST – A home on Dingle Ridge Road in Southeast was destroyed by an early morning fire despite the efforts of firefighters from Putnam and northern Westchester.
The Putnam County 911 center received several calls around 2:30 a.m. on Monday reporting the blaze.
The Brewster Fire Department was notified and when State Police arrived moments later and confirmed a working fire, mutual aid was summoned from the Carmel, Lake Carmel and Croton Falls Fire Departments along with the Brewster FD Rescue Squad, Empress Paramedics and the Putnam Bureau of Emergency Services.
The Putnam County Fire Investigation Team was also summoned along with the Red Cross.
No injuries were reported. Firefighters remained at the scene until 7:30 a.m.
