WARWICK – The Warwick Historical Society (WHS) has announced the appointment of Christopher Sloan as its new Executive Director, effective immediately.
With a wealth of experience in event planning, production, and performing, Sloan brings a dynamic skill set and passion for history to the esteemed organization.
“The Warwick Historical Society is excited to work with Christopher and have him as the leader of the organization. He’s very enthusiastic and dedicated to advancing the Society’s goals,” WHS President Jennifer O’Connor said.
In his new role, Sloan plans to enhance community engagement, expand educational programs, and create memorable experiences that celebrate Warwick’s rich heritage. His vision for the Society includes fostering partnerships with local businesses, schools, and cultural institutions to further elevate its impact within the community.
“I am honored to join The Warwick Historical Society,” Sloan said. “Together with the dedicated team at WHS, I look forward to implementing exciting initiatives that will enrich our community and inspire a greater appreciation for our past.”
