MAHOPAC – A 42-year-old Mahopac woman has been arrested by Carmel Town Police and charged with felony assault and misdemeanor menacing following a domestic incident with a man on April 12.
The suspect is alleged to have struck the man in the chest with a collapsible metal baton, causing pain and injury.
The suspect, whose name police did not make public, was subsequently taken into custody and transported to police headquarters for processing.
She was arraigned and issued a temporary order of protection by 2Carmel Town Justice Jacobellis and released on their own recognizance pending a future court appearance.
