CARMEL – Forty-six-year-old Elizabeth DeLuca of Patterson was arrested on Sunday following a one-car crash on Tammany Hall Road in Patterson, according to Putnam County Sheriff Kevin McConville. Deputies had been dispatched to the accident at 11:20 p.m. after a car had left the roadway and struck a mailbox.
After interviewing the driver, DeLuca, and conducting field sobriety tests, she was arrested and charged with misdemeanor DWI. DeLuca was also charged with aggravated DWI for having a blood-alcohol content greater than .18 percent.
Deluca was processed at the Putnam County Sheriff’s office and released with an appearance ticket for a future court date in Patterson.
