SUNY Orange to host healthcare exploration program

MIDDLETOWN- Careers in healthcare fields are in high demand and many SUNY Orange graduates in these professions often have employment lined up soon after course completion, if not before.  Available degree programs include dental hygiene, exercise studies, healthcare administration, medical laboratory technician, nursing, occupational therapy assistant, physical therapist assistant, public health, and radiologic technology.

On April 10, those looking for in-depth information about the opportunities offered by the College are invited to attend an in-person healthcare exploration program from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the Gerry Forum of the Rowley Center on the College’s Middletown campus.  The event will provide information about available healthcare programs at the College.  A short welcome will be followed by breakout sessions based on student interests.  The event will conclude with a condensed panel of current students enrolled in various healthcare field programs who will share their experiences at SUNY Orange and answer questions from the audience.

Additionally, the Admissions staff will be hosting virtual information sessions (via Zoom) for students interested in the College’s Health Professions programs from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on the following dates:

  • April 3, 2024
  • May 1, 2024
  • June 5, 2024
  • July 10, 2024

Throughout the Spring, the Admissions staff is available to meet individually with students by appointment, in person or virtually, between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Monday through Thursday.

Regularly scheduled information sessions and campus tours are planned from April through August. Middletown campus:

All sessions begin at 3 p.m.
