RHINECLIFF- The Hudson River Ice Yacht Preservation Trust has received two startup grants, one from the Wujack-Harrison Charitable Fund, and the other from an anonymous donor.
“These unrestricted grants will provide us with necessary funds to continue development and planning activities as we seek places for restoration and display of our historic ice boats,” said Robert Wills, President of the HRIYPT.
Trustee David Tobias continued, “These contributions will fund on-land demonstrations, and lectures at historical societies and schools, spreading lessons and information on the history of wind-powered propulsion without fossil fuels.”
