Dear Editor:
I would like to support Christine Bello’s letter that criticizes the Newburgh city officials spending, in such an extravagant and unnecessarily indulgent fashion, for a meeting at the Mohonk Mt. House, using public taxes. The taxes for living here are high, compared to most places in the area, considering how down-trodden Newburgh is. They can go to the MMH whenever they want to and pay for it out of their own pocket, not ours.
