TOWN OF NEWBURGH – At least four men armed with guns and wearing masks pushed their way into a Town of Newburgh home at 50 Fletcher Drive in the late afternoon on February 28 and demanded money from the occupants.
Town police said a man initially knocked on the front door and when the resident opened it, a man wearing an Amazon vest and holding a package, said he required a signature.
When the resident opened the door to take the packages and sign, the man pulled out a gun and pushed his way inside followed by the other robbers.
The bandits then gathered all of the residents, demanded money and put them in the basement before they fled.
No injuries were reported.
