Orange County Sheriff’s Office opens accreditation public comment portal
GOSHEN- Members of the public are invited to provide comment through an online portal on the Orange County Sheriff’s Office engagement and service in the community and delivery of public safety services. The purpose of this public portal is to receive comments regarding an agency’s compliance with the Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies (CALEA) standards.
“Your feedback is the driving force behind our continuous growth. We want to hear from our community about the great things our members are doing and the areas where we can improve. We are here to serve the public by the highest standards to the best of our ability, and that mission requires a team effort,” said Orange County Sheriff Paul Arteta.
These comments submitted through the online portal can be in the form of commendations or concerns. The overall intent of the accreditation process is to provide the participating agency with information to support continuous improvement, as well as foster the pursuit of professional excellence.
