BEACON – Two new members have been appointed to the Beacon City Council.
Amber Grant was determined to be qualified as council member at-large for 2024. She will be required to be voted upon at the November 2024 election.
Pam Wetherbee was named to fill the vacancy in Ward Three and will likewise serve through the end of this year and then must be voted upon in the November general election.
Both women were appointed by Mayor Lee Kyriacou with concurrence of the city council members.
