ALBANY – Columbia County, with 3.0 percent unemployment in November, had the lowest rate of joblessness in the greater Hudson Valley, while, across the Hudson River on the west side, Greene County had the highest rate at 4.0 percent.
All other counties fell below the 4.0 percent level of joblessness, although they all experienced rates higher than their November 2022 levels.
Putnam and Rockland counties came in second and third regarding low job losses.
Regionwide, the unemployment rate was 3.5 percent.
