LIBERTY- You can help provide health and hygiene products for our neighbors! The Sullivan Catskills Food Security Coalition is sponsoring a county-wide hygiene supply drive. Several hygiene supply drive boxes have been placed in Sullivan County to collect hygiene items at the following locations:
• Action Toward Independence, 309 East Broadway, Monticello, NY
• Callicoon Farmers’ Market, A Dorrer Drive, Callicoon, NY
• Cornell Cooperative Extension Sullivan County, 64 Ferndale Loomis Road, Liberty, NY
• CVI Building, One Cablevision Center Dive., Liberty, NY
• Kauneonga Lake Post Office, 3584 State Route 55, Kauneonga Lake, NY
• St. John’s Episcopal Church, 15 St. John Street, Monticello, NY
• Sullivan County Government Center, 100 North Street, Monticello, NY
• The Tavern at the Arnold House, 839 Shandelee Road, Livingston Manor, NY
Items being donated must be new, unused, and unexpired. Hygiene items being accepted include toothbrushes, toothpaste, soap, shampoo and conditioner for all hair types, curl-hydrating and conditioning creams, sprays and oils, deodorant, toilet paper, feminine hygiene products, razors, shaving cream, baby wipes, etc.
Items will be collected until January 17, 2024.
At the conclusion of the drive, items collected will be distributed to food pantries throughout Sullivan County to be given to Sullivan County residents in need of those items. Those with related questions can email mp2255@cornell.edu or call 845-292-6180 ext. 112.
