Rhinebeck Bank promotes Mark Malone to Chief Retail Officer

POUGHKEEPSIE- Mark Malone has been promoted to chief retail officer at Rhinebeck Bank.

Since his arrival at Rhinebeck Bank in October 2012, Malone has steadily advanced in the Bank’s retail banking division.  In his most recent position as senior vice president of retail banking, he oversaw retail banking, cash management, and the Bank’s customer solutions center.  In his new role, Malone will assume responsibility for deposit and loan operations, in addition to his current responsibilities.

Malone is a 2018 graduate of the American Bankers Association Stonier Graduate School of Banking in Philadelphia, where he also earned the prestigious Wharton Leadership Certificate from the Wharton Institute of Executive Education.  He is also a 2005 graduate of the State University of New York at Albany. He has also been recognized as a 2017 “Forty Under 40” honoree by the Dutchess County Regional Chamber of Commerce and graduated from the Chamber’s Leadership Dutchess program in 2013.  In 2014, Malone earned the designation of Fellow by Hudson Valley Pattern for Progress.

Throughout his career, Malone has been an active community volunteer, including previous service as the co-chairperson of the Dutchess County Regional Chamber of Commerce’s “Forty Under 40” selection committee and board treasurer at Mill Street Loft.  He currently serves as board chairperson of the Hudson Valley Hospice Foundation, an organization with which he has volunteered since June 2013.

Malone resides in Poughquag with his wife Patricia and their children.
