Dear Editor,
I am writing this letter on behalf of Robin Licari who is running for the Town Supervisor of Wappingers Falls. I have lived in Wappingers for 44 years and have experienced many Supervisors of this town. I believe Robin Licari is an excellent candidate for Town Supervisor.
Robin has lived in Dutchess County her whole life and has roots here. She has experience in business and in the area of mental health. All the years I have known her, she has always been honest and strives to do the right thing. She cares about the people and that’s why she decided to run for the position.
For instance, Robin understands we need affordable housing, but she would not want to allow apartments to be built in a single family home development. She wants to relook at the zoning laws to be sure decisions are made based on needs and research. She hopes to develop a plan for Carnwath Farms, a property that has been neglected for many years. She hopes to end Pay to Play and give the people of Wappingers Falls a voice in decision making.
I hope you will agree that Robin Licari is the right person for the job of Town Supervisor of Wappingers Falls and vote for her on Election Day.
