WAPPINGERS FALLS- Stony Kill Foundation invites the community to celebrate the fall harvest season with fun, food, and music at Stony Kill Farm on Saturday, September 30, 2023, from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The rain date is October 1, 2023.

Harvest Fest 2023 offers activities for visitors of all ages, including always-popular hayrides, visits with farm animals (including special guest livestock), craft vendors, artisan demos, hands-on crafting, and much more.  The festival also features live music, rare guided tours of the 18th-century Verplanck Tenant Farmhouse, a hay bale play area, beekeeping 101 info, and merch from the Stony Kill Foundation pop-up shop.

The day’s menu includes tasty food truck fare, warm homemade soups from the Verplanck Garden Club, and baked goods from Stony Ground 4-H Club.

Admission to Harvest Fest is free.  A suggested donation of $5 helps support farm operations and education programs offered year-round by the not-for-profit Stony Kill Foundation.  Attendees are encouraged to bring cash to purchase crafts, baked goods, and soup.

All Harvest Fest activities will be held in front of the big red barn at Stony Kill Farm on 79 Farmstead Lane (Route 9D) in Wappingers Falls, NY.  Free parking will be available at the north end of the property right off of Route 9D.  Visitors can walk from the parking area along the farm lane to the festival site, or hop aboard one of the hayride shuttles.
