Early primary voting information announced for Orange County

GOSHEN – The Orange County commissioners of elections announced that a primary election for enrolled members of the Democratic party in the Town of Cornwall and City of Newburgh and Republican party members in the towns of Chester, Montgomery, Mount Hope, New Windsor, and Woodbury will take place on Tuesday, June 27, and poll sites will be open 6 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Orange County will be participating in early voting for the primaries.

Voters will have the ability to exercise their right to vote during a nine-day period before election day at any of the two locations in the county.

The following sites will be open to process any Democratic and Republican eligible voters in Orange County:  City of Newburgh Activity Center, 401 Washington Street in the City of Newburgh and Caroline Building, 23 Hatfield Lane in the Town of Goshen.

Early voting will be conducted daily at the two locations during the following dates and times:

Saturday, June17, 2023  9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Sunday, June 18, 2023 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Monday, June 19, 2023 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
  Tuesday, June 20, 2023 12 noon to 8 p.m.
  Wednesday, June 21, 2023 12 noon to 8 p.m.
  Thursday, June 22, 2023 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  Friday, June 23, 2023 7a.m. to 3 p.m.
  Saturday, June 24, 2023 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  Sunday, June 25, 2023 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
