SLOATSBURG – Flames and thick black smoke shot out of a house at 59 Grant Street in Sloatsburg early Sunday evening.
Firefighters responded along with Ramapo Town Police to the three-alarm blaze.
The 2 ½ story, single-family home sustained substantial damage.
The cause was not immediately known, and no injuries were reported.
