KIRYAS JOEL- A Saturday afternoon fire ripped through a multi-family townhouse building in the Hasidic Village of Kiryas Joel. The fire reached three alarms before it was extinguished by firefighters.
Smoke could be seen billowing form the three-story structure on Hamburg Way. A portion of the roof caved in, and dozens of firefighters were on scene.
There were no reported injuries, and everyone was able to safely evacuate the building.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
