TOWN OF POUGHKEEPSIE – State Senator Rob Rolison (R-Poughkeepsie) opened his new district office Thursday with a ribbon-cutting ceremony surrounded by staff, community leaders, elected officials, and constituents. The 3 Neptune Road location off Route 9 in the Town of Poughkeepsie has been open and conducting casework operations for constituents in the district since January when Rolison took office.

“Leaders lead by listening, and our district office staff is here to serve you. In the coming weeks, we will be conducting mobile office hours in other parts of the 39th district in order to meet face-to-face with constituents who may not be able to join us at our Town of Poughkeepsie location. I’d like to thank our dedicated staff for the hard work they’ve put in starting on day one, and I look forward to meeting locally with more of our Hudson Valley residents in order to better serve them in Albany,” said Rolison.

Rolison’s staff includes Stacey Bottoms who served as his mayoral assistant in the City of Poughkeepsie, Lydia Biskup, a veteran staffer of former Senator Sue Serino, and Catherine Durland, a former assistant to Dutchess County Clerk Bradford Kendall.  All three women are well known for their community service and ability to navigate the bureaucratic red tape associated with the state government.
