Port Jervis club to host annual fundraiser to raise scholarship funds

PORT JERVIS – The Business & Professional Women’s Club of Port Jervis will hold their 20th annual “Stars of Tomorrow” tricky tray fundraiser on Saturday March 11th at the Port Jervis High School.

Doors open at noon and calling starts at 2 p.m. Tricky Tray tickets are $1 a sheet with a chance to win a $200 cash prize if $30 in tickets are purchased. Receive another chance to win with every $10 purchase over $30. Admission is free, and kids are welcome. Cash and credit accepted for ticket purchases.

The event is well-attended every year, with more than 300 baskets, gift certificates, and prizes all donated by club members and local businesses. There are special tables, super special tables, raffle tickets, and door prizes. Items include a 43″ TV, designer handbags, electronics, popular themed baskets, and a super scratch off basket table.

Proceeds will benefit the club’s scholarship fund, which over the last 21 years, has awarded $347,500 to 256 graduating seniors and recently issued its first adult continuing education scholarship.

A snow date is planned for March 12th.
