POUGHKEEPSIE – A 40-year-old Poughkeepsie man was arrested by the Dutchess County Drug Task Force on Thursday after agents executed a search warrant following an investigation.  Jerod Willis was arrested without incident at his South Cherry Street residence following the raid and charged with felony criminal possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell.  Sources close to the investigation have told Mid-Hudson News that Willis was selling crack cocaine that contained fentanyl.

After arraignment on February 16, Willis was remanded to the Dutchess County Jail without bail.

Task Force Detective Sergeant Adam Harris said that Willis was in possession of “A significant quantity of narcotics at the time of his arrest.”
