PINE BUSH – East Coast Industrial Services of Pine Bush was recognized last week at the National Pavement Expo in Charlotte, North Carolina as the recipient of the 2023 Award for Excellence in Power Sweeping.
East Coast Industrial Services is a family owned and operated business located in Pine Bush that specializes in parking lot and heavy highway sweeping. Founded in 2008, East Coast Industrial employs approximately 40 full time workers dedicated to a suite of commercial and municipal services, including street and parking lot sweeping, commercial landscape maintenance, parking lot striping, commercial and residential dumpster service, and pothole repair.
East Coast Industrial is owned and operated locally, with two generations of Presutti’s directing business operations. Laurie Presutti is President & CEO, and her husband Jay serves as General Manager. Laurie and Jay’s two sons also work for the business, Bryan as Operations Manager and Neil as the Shop & Fleet Manager. Their daughter-in-law Kimmi is also active in the business and manages the company’s office. East Coast Industrial is a member of the Orange County Chamber of Commerce and is also a New York State certified WBE business.
When asked about what the national recognition means to the company General Manager Jay Presutti said, “The award is a credit to the entire East Coast team.
